This was said in my class today. I wanted to give them more time for the assignment – like 30 minutes – but that wouldn’t have been enough time either.
So why give the assignment then if it wasn’t going to get done – well, simply so that the assignment can be started. Sometimes – that’s just enough. Sometimes, it’s not about completing the assignment that’s most important – it’s just getting going that is most important.
Honestly, the activity or assignment is going to a lifetime to complete – but it was good to wrestle with it – even it was just 10 minutes.
