Live your passion. I was going to call this post that, but I decided to entitle the post by the main idea.
What are you passionate about? What is that thing that you live for? What gets you up in the middle of the night – and makes you take out that piece of paper and write it out? What is that one thing that you don’t take a break from? That thing that makes you not realize how the hours have gone by.
I am passionate about many things. I am passionate about helping people. I am passionate about my research, and pretty much everything that I am learning. I am passionate about my marriage. I am passionate about teaching my students – how to know themselves better. I am passionate about so many things that I can’t even list them all.
The idea about passion that I read about tonight is that if you’re truly passionate about something – you would do it for free. Don’t get me wrong – if you can get paid for whatever you’re passionate about – that’s not a bad situation to be in.
If you want to figure out what you’re passionate about, ask yourself, would you do it for free? Are you living or are you just earning a living?

thats cool!.. i was thinking about it recently, i don’t really care about getting paid to do music, but considering how my major’s music and i do want to make a living off of it, I guess I do have to get paid,and should look to get paid for it, but i think i would do it for free.
Even if you would do it for free, you need to at least know what you are worth.
The next time someone asks you how much they should pay you to lead worship for them – have a answer.
how do i know how much to ask though? thats always confused me! i’m not super skilled to ask an insane amount,. so.. how do i determine that?
