Live your passion.  I was going to call this post that, but I decided to entitle the post by the main idea.

What are you passionate about?  What is that thing that you live for?  What gets you up in the middle of the night – and makes you take out that piece of paper and write it out?  What is that one thing that you don’t take a break from?  That thing that makes you not realize how the hours have gone by.

I am passionate about many things.  I am passionate about helping people.  I am passionate about my research, and pretty much everything that I am learning.  I am passionate about my marriage.  I am passionate about teaching my students – how to know themselves better.  I am passionate about so many things that I can’t even list them all.

The idea about passion that I read about tonight is that if you’re truly passionate about something – you would do it for free.  Don’t get me wrong – if you can get paid for whatever you’re passionate about – that’s not a bad situation to be in.

If you want to figure out what you’re passionate about, ask yourself, would you do it for free?   Are you living or are you just earning a living?
