OC WordCamp was yesterday. This was the first WordCamp that I’ve ever been to. I learned so much about WordPress and thoroughly had great time. At times, I was both lost and intrigued. I picked up vocabulary and there were more acronyms used than I know. There were times when the speakers used acronyms to describethe acronym that they just used. I knew the stuff well enough to follow along.

The developer and designer community was super interesting. It was my first conference where the Twitter ticker tape of the event was constantly moving.

I found myself watching behavior translated into tweets. I was watched the keynote presenter listen to the speakers and her physical reactions were tweeted. These days, when you give a presentation, the reactions are live and immediate.

Tweets represent emotions, ideas, attitudes, and people.
