Once again, I’m not a psychologist. I can’t even imagine what the effects of Google Instant will be on us. Just like Nick Carr says – Google is going to make us stupid (here‘s the article). If Google will make us stupid, Google Instant might make us…….Impatient for one thing.
I was listening to some people talk about it today, and because their browser couldn’t keep up with Google’s new feature, they were getting frustrated with it – after a day. This will condition us to want more things – right now – as if that’s not how we are already. Google will make us stupid and Google Instant will make us impatient.
