Becoming a Fanboy Clouds Thinking

So it’s a random thought on my way to church today.

Fanboy definition from the Interwebs:

1. A person who is completely loyal to a game or company reguardless of if they suck or not.
2. A pathetic insult often used by fanboys themselves to try and put down people who don’t like whatever it is they like.

It’s a pretty normal thing to find – people that are just so passionate and sold out to something that it seems like that is the only thing that matters.  You know what I’m talking about.  You can find fanboys of most everything – Apple products come to mind first.  You can find them into most everything, and the more into something that you are, the more subjective you are in your thinking.

And nothing – including this post – will change your mind because you’ve already made up your mind.  The principle stands though – the more into something you are, the less objective you can be.
