When you hear someone talk about customer service, you know what they are talking about, but have you ever heard of Employee Service?
Here’s the thinking:
Who at your company or who that you lead provides the customer service?
Answer: your employees; those that follow your leadership.
You expect great customer service from them, but if you’re not providing great Employee Service to them, you as a leader cannot expect great customer service from them because you have not provided great Employee Service. The level of customer service that you can expect is tied into theamount of Employee Service that you provide – no matter what the employee needs. You’re the leader.
So if you want to increase Customer Satisfaction, increase Employee Satisfaction.
