Sneaking in the Radio

I heard that in an interview yesterday.  They were talking about growing up in a conservative Christian home where they weren’t allowed to listen to certain types of music.  They had to sneak to listen to the radio.  I connected with that.  I did that.

I thought about the impact of that.  Whatever you had to sneak to do – shapes you.  It because a part of you and becomes important to you.  Did you have to sneak around to do something – listening to the radio, making out, poker – whatever?  Whatever you had to sneak to do, shapes you.  The sneaking around makes you, well, sneaky.

What did you sneak to do when you were younger?
