Search History Identity Picture

And you can know it too.  Google knows your search history.  Google has my search history since May 2006.  I have almost 22,000 searches in the past 5 years.

You know how it is.  If I have a question about something, I Google it.  I Google things for research and work, but then I also Google personal things as well.

I checked out my history.  You can tell when I was sick or when my wife was sick.  You can tell when I needed tires – and for which car I was looking for.

The first thing that I saw that cracked me up in the searches was a phone battery for my Razr.  Hahaha.  Gotta love that.

Okay, so Google might not know your identity, but they definitely have the pieces to put together a pretty good identity picture of you.  As I look at my search history, I know exactly why I was looking at a certain search.  I know what search things were important to me and what wasn’t that serious.  It still comes from me though.  The person looking at your search history to build an identity picture will have enough information on you to offer up ads, and at the end of the day, that’s all they care about.

If you want to check out your search history identity picture – check yours out – google.com/history.  You can even search your search history.
