I heard today that a lonely place is anywhere that a person that can’t appreciate anyone goes. Do you know anyone like that? They might be pretty good with people, but they’re lonely. No one wants to hang out with them because they just don’t appreciate people.

These are the people that will use people for their personal benefit. They are lonely, not because they’re not fun, but because no one has fun hanging out with them. It always starts off nice, but you get to the point where they are just taking from you – that’s not a place that you want to be so you leave. It leaves them in a lonely place.

Here’s the deal though – we should feel bad for that person. You should pray for that person. You should care for that person, but also be careful to not get the life sucked out of you. Does that mean that you leave them alone in their lonely place? Well, that’s for you to decide.
