Planned Spontaneity

Have you ever heard anyone break down spontaneity?  I was a little surprised when I heard someone break it down today.  They identified it’s parts and articulated how spontaneity works, but they were talking about planned spontaneity.  They were trying to game spontaneity.

At first my thought was, that’s dumb.  Why would you break it down and “plan” for it to happen?  By it’s nature, it is about being spontaneous and not planned.

But then I got to thinking – would it be possible to game it?  Would it be possible to plan for it – just in case.

I don’t know where I land on this conversation.  I don’t think I’d ever plan for it or be ready for it.  Why don’t you spontaneously respond in the comments.
