There are some of you out there that absolutely can’t stand cognitive exercises. You know what I’m talking about – the ones that get you to think through something – hypothetically or theoretically 0r simply to make you dream about what if.
This post isn’t for you.
But for those of you who don’t mind such an exercise, you really have to try this one.
It has to do with how you would Design a Beautiful Day. How would you do that? What would your day include? Who would be with you? Where would you go? When would you do things during the day?
How you Design a Beautiful Day might say a lot about who you are? You may not know your identity, but if you Design a Beautiful Day, that might give insight into your identity.
Try it. Let me know what you come up with.
This was my beautiful day last Sunday…it wasn’t totally by my intentional design, but it sure was beautiful.
Father’s Day 2011
A great day…breakfast in bed, went walking along Dana Point cliffs with all four kids, BBQ dinner, lots of kind words and laughter, family jacuzzi…it doesn’t get better than this…thank you Lord!
PS: Oh yes, and that was preceded by a U2 concert the night before with my 14 year old son!
What a great story that you posted. If you guys want to read it, check out Joey’s post on it – http://goo.gl/qEZq1
