Before you start shooting down this idea with specific details, hear me out.
I heard someone say this – that we all become what we hate. I am sure there are detailed things that you just cannot become. If you hate veggies, you’re not going to become that.
I heard it in the context of stuff that we hated when we were children. Remember hating brushing your teeth, and now you do. I hated to floss and now, I do so religiously. I wish I started earlier though. Some of you hated your parents growing up, and now you’re a parent. That’s the stuff that this line is talking about.
If you think about some of those things, you realize that you can get some amazing insights to your identity.
