I was sitting in church today.  It’s not a huge church, but I couldn’t believe how many people brought their Second Screen to church.  Not only did we have the verses on the screen as we listened to Pastor, there were many screens out.  I had never seen the Kindle in church – used as a Bible, but there it was.  I saw like 2 iPads.  I saw a bunch of phones.  It was pretty awesome.

We need to get used to immediate feedback as people tweet their thoughts while the speaking happens.  Are you one of those people that think that they’re not paying attention when someone’s looking at their phone?  People use their phones to take notes.  It’s the Second Screen effect.
