Where to Find Your Identity

I know that I’ve written something like this before, but this conversation keeps coming up.  Just because I study and I’m very interested in identity doesn’t necessarily mean I know how you might be able to find identity.  Everyone is different.  There is never one way to find identity and security in self.  We have been conditioned to think that the process can be replicated and mechanized.  In identity formation, one size doesn’t fit all.

There is one thing that I continue to tell people that ask where they might find identity.  It’s counter-intuitive, but if you want to know Where to Find Your Identity, just ask yourself what you get lost in.  Find your identity in that.  In losing yourself, you will find yourself.
