I recently read about the knowledge economy. I’m still working through the book, but it has been fascinating to see the world through this lens.
Whether you see knowledge as a product or a tool, knowledge becomes the most important thing. It also means that pieces of paper that say you have a certain level of knowledge is important.
There are more people going to college today than ever – because we all need this piece of paper that shows us how much knowledge we have. It’s important because it gets us the better job.
This is too huge a concept to tackle in less than 200 words, but it has been interesting to process through my world and my lenses to see how important knowledge is too me – sometimes too important.
That knowledge shapes my identity.
